“Sounds good”
「相手が言ったことに同意する時」良く使われます。
soundは名詞では「音」という意味ですが動詞として使われているので
「~に聞こえる」という意味になります。
“Sounds good”は「良く聞こえる」なので、
「良さそう」と訳されます。
“Sounds good” は “That sounds good” の短縮です。
“That sounds good” は
“That is good” の “is “を “sounds“ に入れ替えた文章です。
英語では「be動詞」の代わりに
「5感の動詞」を使って「~のように感じる」事を表現します。
使えるようになると、ネイティブのような相槌に聞こえるでしょう。

「be動詞」は主語と補語を繋ぐ連結動詞です。
I am happy.「私は幸せです。」
I = happy で、I と happyを繋いでいます。
この5感の動詞も「be動詞と同じ役割」をしているので、入れ替えることが出来ます。
I feel happy.「私は幸せに感じます。」
I = happy ですね。
5感の動詞を使うと
be動詞の「私は幸せです」の断定から、「私は幸せに感じます」と
少し断定を避けた言い方になります。
英語の5感とは?
5感は英語で”The five senses“と言います。
人の5つの感覚です。
- 視覚 (sight) : looks「~に見える」
- 聴覚 (hearing) : sounds「~に聞こえる」
- 臭覚 (smell) : smells「~の匂いがする」
- 味覚 (taste) : tastes「~の味がする」
- 触覚 (touch) : feels「~の感じがする」

- S +V + like+ 名詞
- 「感覚の動詞」は進行形には出来ない

人から受ける情報に対して自分の感じたことを話します。
耳で聞いた情報なら、”sound” を使います。

その話は少し変に聞こえます。
※The storyは3人称なので、soundにsが付きます。

※3人称の疑問文、否定文はdoes
Japanese:日本人の(ここでは形容詞として使われている)
